Thanks to all parents who attended the annual Parents Association AGM of Rush NS. A new committee to represent parents was elected on the night. Its members are listed on the PAC website.

The Parents Association AGM will be held on Tuesday, October 18th, commencing at 7:30pm in the school hall. We would like to warmly invite all parents to attend the meeting, which will have the following draft agenda;

Due to events surrounding the ongoing search for David Gilsenan; who is a parent of kids at Rush NS; and for Ronan Browne; the PAC have decided to reschedule the annual comedy night due to be held tomorrow evening 5th April.
Refunds of advance tickets purchased will be made by the seller. We will advise of the rescheduled date in due course and appologies for any inconvenience.
A huge thank you to all the volunteers and people who attended the first St Patrick’s Day Funfair at Rush National School. We think it was a huge success and great fun for whole community. Some photos of the day are posted below for your memories;
All of the volunteers supporting the first St Patrick’s Day funfair at Rush National School can download from here, the Site Plan for the event and the Volunteer Schedule detailing your job(s) and zone assignments during the day.
For volunteers assigned to the first shift from 11 – 2pm; please arrive on site no later than 10:30am if you are assigned to a confectionary stall and 11:00am if you are assigned to other jobs.
On arriving on site please identify yourself to the gate staff, who will confirm your zone assignment from the list. Please then go to your zone where the coordinator (bright yellow tee shirt) will assign you a specific responsibility and give you a volunteer tee shirt (bright pumpkin tee shirt). If you are a volunteer do not join the queue for entrance, please go to the head of the queue and identify yourself.
On finishing your shift, please inform your zone coordinator before leaving and remember to hand back your tee shirt for the next volunteer.
